2022 sports industry competitions open for entries

Entries for the Sports Industry Award 2022 have officially opened.

After a hugely successful in-person comeback in September, the awards will return to their traditional place in the sports industry’s calendar, with the 2022 event confirmed for Thursday 12 May at Evolution London.

The Sport Industry Awards, which have a total of sixteen prestigious awards to be won, celebrate the immense work being done in the sector, whether it is organizing world-class events of all formats and at all scales, or using sport as a platform to spur social change, to those campaigns that have an ingenious creative spark that ripples through the industry and beyond.

The hugely popular Communication Award returns this year, while the Campaign of the Year award is split into two categories, UK and International, and the Sports Organization of the Year is reinstated as a registered category. .

The Sport Industry Awards 2022 also see the introduction of two new award categories. First, the Environmental Sustainability Award will recognize and reward organizations and initiatives that deliver environmental benefits through sport.

The original content award is also launched this year. With people’s ever-changing content consumption habits, this award is designed to celebrate the best of high-quality, engaging and creative productions – be it video or audio, and big-ticket documentaries. budget to independent creators who have built an engaged audience across multiple platforms.

There will also be the prestigious industry recognition that accompanies the Judges Awards this year including the Coutts Lifetime Achievement Award, The Integrity and Impact Award and the Coutts Outstanding Contribution to Sport Award, with Marcus Rashford and Barry Hearn being the big winners in 2021..
