Extreme E recognized for its durability at the Sport Industry Awards

Extreme E won the top prize for environmental sustainability at the Sport Industry Awards 2022 in London.

The occasion celebrated the immense work being done across the sector for social change and producing campaigns with a creative spark while staging world-class events.

As a sport built around a social purpose, but with racing at its heart, Extreme E uses its platform to promote electrification, sustainability and gender equality in an effort to effect real change.

The electric off-road racing championship has been crowned the first winner of the sports industry’s environmental sustainability award. New for 2022, this award recognizes organizations that deliver environmental benefits through sport.
