  • The Baltimore Ravens opened as 7-point favorites against their hometown Miami Dolphins in the NFL Week 10 TNF Game
  • Baltimore is 5-1 in its last six visits to Miami
  • Read below for the opening odds analysis and a prediction of how the line will move before kickoff.

When it comes to the NFL TNF demo game, if it’s the Baltimore Ravens, they usually come out on top. However, in the case of the Miami Dolphins, that same scenario is barely above a 50-50 proposition.

Baltimore is 10-4 (0.714) all-time on TNF. Miami, however, is only 6-5 (0.545). No wonder the Ravens lead the way at 7 points as these two clubs prepare to face off in the Week 10 edition of TNF.

Of course, that could also be because the Ravens 6-2 are proving to be a much better team this season than the Dolphins 2-7.

Jackson, a record holder in the Ravens victory

The Ravens counted closely on Sunday again. Posting a 34-31 overtime victory over the Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore has won for the third time this season by a margin of three points or less. The Ravens also beat the Detroit Lions 19-17 and the Kansas City Chiefs 36-35.

It doesn’t hurt to have the most accurate kicker in NFL history to lean on. Justin Tucker of Baltimore has reached 90.6% of his career field goals. He had a 66-yard attempt to beat the Lions. It was the longest field goal in NFL history.

At the same time, it’s also just great to have Lamar Jackson under the center. All Jackson did in Sunday’s victory over the Vikings was run 120 yards, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. Baltimore made up for a 24-10 deficit for the win.

It was the 12th time in his career that Jackson gained more than 100 yards on the ground. This broke the NFL record for 100 yard rushes by a quarterback. Jackson previously shared the brand with Michael Vick.

Tagovailoa dolphins suffering from a broken finger

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa was not racing anywhere on Sunday. A broken finger kept him on the sidelines as the Dolphins faced the Houston Texans.

Tagovailoa broke his finger in Miami’s 26-11 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. It is not certain when the injury occurred. He thinks it may have happened in the second quarter.

Either way, Tagovailoa took every offensive shot against the Bills. However, the injury led to him being restricted all week during training.

On Sunday, he served as a replacement while Jacoby Brissett left for Miami. With a short week to prepare, Tagovailoa’s status for Thursday is listed as questionable.

Brissett takes victory for Miami

Facing the Texans in a 1-7 team battle on Sunday, Brissett led Miami to a 17-9 victory. The result ended a seven-game losing streak for the Dolphins.

Previously starting with the Indianapolis Colts, veteran Brissett passed just 244 yards and was selected twice against a touchdown pass.

Miami returned the ball five times in total. It was the first time since Oct. 18, 1990 that the Dolphins had so many presents and still managed to win the game, ending a 0-21 streak in that scenario.

Movement of dolphins against crows

This will be Miami’s first appearance on TNF since 2014. It doesn’t seem to be going well for the Dolphins.

Baltimore is 5-1 in its last six visits to Miami. Overall, the Ravens have won three straight wins against the Dolphins and eight of nine.

The line on this game should get longer in favor of the Ravens. This move could prove to be significant if it is confirmed that Tagovailoa cannot go.
