Public relations and social media agency SoapBox London has been nominated as public relations and social media support for the Sport Industry Awards 2022. The agency will be responsible for working with the internal Sport Industry team Group to ensure extensive media coverage, on-site red carpet management and support for social media channels.
The relationship between the Sport Industry Awards and SoapBox began with the hugely successful 2021 Awards, a very special night that saw legendary promoter Barry Hearn and England and Manchester United star Marcus Rashford take home notable awards.
Founded in September 2015 by publicists Andy Bell and Rowan Wilkinson, Soapbox London provides creative and proactive media, social media management and content production for elite sports talent, helping to build long-term careers outside of sport, to make itself known and to publicize large-scale events, as well as to activate the brand mentions.
Upon the appointment, Dylan Pugh, Managing Director of Sport Industry Group, said:
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Soapbox for the 2022 Sport Industry Awards. Soapbox is an incredible contributor to showcase and celebrate the immense work being done in the industry and we look forward to expanding our work with them.
Addition of Co-Founder and Managing Director of SoapBox London, Andy Bell;
“We are really excited to expand our relationship with the Sport Industry Awards and to work with Dylan and his team. The awards are a big highlight for our industry, so being directly involved for the second time is very exciting for us. We know the guys have some really exciting plans for 2022 and we can’t wait to get started. “
